Admin/Biographical History This menu is from a Pan American "The President" Flight. For many years, Pan American partnered with the world-famous Parisian restaurant, Maxim's. Maxim's chefs prepared all of Pan American's transatlantic meals. Meals were flash frozen and stored at many different locations. Source:

Scope & Content Folded paper menu/postcard. Blue front cover is illustrated with a French waiter and small Pan American Boeing Stratocruiser in flight with white script text: "on board The President en route / Blue Ribbon Transatlantic Flight / Pan American / World's Most Experienced Airline" Inside is "Maxim's Paris in the sky" menu and handwriting by a passenger: "Aloft 6/12, Frankfurt to London, 6:16 pm. Raining at Frankfurt. This is me still on my way home. AL. Just had a beer at Frankfurt. Will enjoy this dinner."
