Glen Mefferd's Pilot Flight Bag - ca. 1948

Handtooled brown leather pilot flight bag with two wide leather handles. Fastens with one leather strap with a metal buckle. Top of bag is engraved with a picture of Delta Douglas DC-6 in flight and text: "G.E. Mefferd / Delta Air Lines." Other sides of bag and the handles are engraved with detailed leafy flourishes. Edges, corner and bottom of bag show wear.
