Description Black and white negative, 3.25 x 4.125 inches. One of a set of seven negatives of Northeast Airlines Military Transport Division on February 13, 1942. This image shows Douglas C-53, #18, painted in US Army Air Forces camouflage, parked in front of a hangar. Aircraft numbers: 12009 on tail, 18 on engine. By the aircraft tail is a man walking away from view, wearing cap and jacket and carrying (papers?) in his left hand.
Provenance One of a set of seven images taken of Northeast Airlines Military Transport Division on February 13, 1942, that were purchased by John Joiner from estate sale of a retired Northeast Airlines pilot in 2000.
