Description Print made ca. 1996 of a 1987 photograph of comedian Richard "Red" Skelton holding an original fabric pencil crayon drawing he did on a Delta Air Lines First Class napkin. Drawing depicts Red Skelton's famous hobo clown character "Freddie the Freeloader" as a Delta pilot reading a newspaper. Signed by Red Skelton: "Chuck and Lois / Dear hearts / Red Skelton"
Provenance Delta Capt. Charles and Louis Devonshire were friends of Red Skelton, and commissioned this drawing from him in 1987. This photo accompanied the drawing when it was donated to the Delta Flight Museum in 1996.
