This model represents the all-coach Boeing 737-200 fleet operated by Delta Express, which was Delta’s first low-fare airline subsidiary from 1996-2003. The Delta Express 737s wore this livery from about 1997-2000.
Based in Orlando, Florida, Delta Express eventually served 20 Florida, Northeast and Midwest destinations. In 2002, Delta’s new subsidiary Song assumed management of Delta Express, and as Song’s service expanded in 2003, Delta discontinued Delta Express.
