Description Orange double-knit polyester pleated skirt. Worn above the knee. Short zipper in back. Top half of the skirt (which would be covered by the tunic when worn) is a thin white polyester fabric for a slenderizing effect with the orange pleats attached below the hipline. Treated with a Zepel finish for spot and stain resistance.

Delta's 1970-1973 Uniform skirts and tunics came in orange, navy blue and white colors. For the first time, Delta flight attendants also had a pants option--navy blue or orange bell-bottoms.
