Description Women's creamy beige suit jacket, fitted. No lapel. Two pockets. A mock breast pocket for wings lapel pin. Three brass cuff buttons on each sleeve marked: "Delta Air Lines." Buttonholes in front of jacket for inserting removable pair of brass buttons. Partially lined.

Provenance Jacket from Delta's second flight attendant uniform, also called 1940-1942 Summer Uniform.

Worn by Delta Chief Stewardess Laura Wizark, who was Delta's first flight attendant instructor. She came from American Airlines to teach Delta's first flight attendant class in 1940.
