This uniform piece was worn by Delta Stewardess Jeanne Tozer, who flew with Delta from November 1947-July 1953.
Jeanne Tozer wore these buttons with the summer uniform worn by Delta flight attendants, then called "stewardesses," from Summer 1948-Summer 1953. This style of buttons were part of these Delta Stewardess Uniforms: 1940-1942 Winter, 1940-1942 Summer, 1942-1946 Winter and 1948-1953 Summer. This style of brass button was also worn by Delta airport agents from 1934-ca. early 1960s and by Delta pilots from 1934-present.
