Description Delta Cable Clamp made of two Masonite-type pressboard pieces and two nut-and-bolt sets. This tool was used by Delta mechanics to remove tension from aircraft cables and when blocking and disconnecting aircraft cables during aircraft maintenance.

Provenance Delta mechanics used this type of tool for all aircraft in the Delta fleet. This tool was used by James L. Tyson, who donated it in 1993, when he was a retiree from Dept. 371 Hydraulic Maintenance Overhaul at Delta's Technical Operations Center in Atlanta.
