Jacket buttons from Delta's first flight attendant uniform, also known as Delta's 1940-1942 Winter uniform. Worn by Delta Chief Stewardess Laura Wizark, who was Delta's first flight attendant instructor. She came from American Airlines to teach Delta's first flight attendant class in 1940.
This style of buttons were part of these Delta Stewardess Uniforms: 1940-1942 Winter, 1940-1942 Summer, 1942-1946 Winter and 1948-1953 Summer. This style of brass button was also worn by Delta airport agents from 1934-ca. early 1960s and by Delta pilots from 1934-present.
