Description A. Goldtone thin metal kiddie wings lapel pin. Pin features a gold wing on each side of a round navy blue foil decal with the Delta Flying D logo and gold raised letters: "JR STEWARDESS."

B. Cream paper card with navy blue text: "Here are your Delta Junior STEWARDESS Wings. Every Delta stewardess wears her Golden Wings with pride. You, too, may wear these Junior Stewardess Wings. / Delta / ONE OF AMERICA'S PIONEER SCHEDULED AIRLINES."

Provenance Delta's first style of kiddie wings. Issued on Delta's deluxe Royal Service first-class flights on Douglas DC-7s. Girls were presented with Junior Stewardess wings, while boys got the Junior Pilot wings. Paper certificates continued to be available for children on all other Delta flights.
