A-B. Safety belt consists of two separate pieces of heavy webbed canvas (5 inch width) with metal attachments.

Believed to be a belt owned by early Atlanta aviation pioneer Douglas Henry Davis, Sr.
Doug Davis was among the first to make aviation a business in Atlanta in the 1920s. He built the first hangar on Chandler Field, was a famous air racer, and became a pilot for Eastern Air Lines in 1930.
