Description Metal goldtoned "wings" lapel pin. Features Delta's winged triangle logo with blue enamel in the center triangle around the goldtone raised "D." Stamped "ROBBINS CO, ATTLEBORO, MASS" on the reverse.

Provenance Worn by Delta Chief Stewardess Laura Wizark, Delta's first flight attendant instructor. She worn these wings with Delta's first flight attendant uniforms, the 1940-1942 Winter Uniform and 1940-1942 Summer Uniform. This style of wings continued to be worn by Delta flight attendants, called "stewardesses" at the time, from 1940-1953.
