Description Kilograms to pounds analog weight converter made of a beige/blue water-resistant coated paperstock case, with metal fasteners in each corner, and card that slides up and down. Front side has text: "Eastbound, westbound or bound round the world, Flying Clippers are the most frequently scheduled. And there are no lower certificated shipping rates than those for Clipper Cargo / Pan American World Airways / Clipper Cargo Service / See reverse for Address of your Local Clipper Cargo Agent." Reverse side lists this local cargo agent: "LEP Transport, Inc., 55 Broadway, New York 6, N.Y., Tel: Dlgby 4-2515" and has text: "Some countries figure weight in kilos, some in pounds and tons. But all six continents have a common denominator in Flying Clipper Cargo Service."

Provenance This novelty item promotes Pan American's all-freight aircraft service, later named Pan Am Cargo, which operated from 1942-1983.
