Description Men's necktie consisting of a woven pattern of repeated interlocking Hughes Airwest's logo in pink, purple, yellow, orange, red and blue. Fabric is very thick, and according to the donor, this was the same type of fabric used for Hughes Airwest's passenger aircraft seat covers in 1972. The Hughes Airwest logo, designed by Mario Zamparelli in 1971, consists of a horizontal axis linking three diamond-like units, which make a stylized "HH," the initials of the airline's famous owner Howard Hughes.
