|Title||Table, Delta Douglas DC-7B first class lounge|
|Collection||Aircraft Parts & Furnishings Collection|
|Description||Table has two red vinyl supports with folding leaves. Leaves are made of wood and laminate and supported with collapsible metal braces. Dimensions: 41" W x 24.75" H (with base), 26" D (estimated with leaves up), 7" D (leaves down).|
Donor's father worked at Delta Air Lines from 1948-1996 in Cabin Service, and retired as a Stations Analyst - Cabin Service. He acquired table from Delta surplus when DC-7s were retired from Delta fleet and gave table to his son, who later donated it to the Delta Flight Museum.
Note: This seat style may have also been used on Douglas DC-6. Looks like table seen in photos of Delta's Douglas DC-6 lounges.
