Provenance This is the last of a fleet of three Delta-branded Mini Coopers that were owned by Ignition, Inc., an experiential marketing company and Delta vendor.

The Mini Coopers made promotional appearances for Delta at events from 2003-2013. According to Mike Young of Ignition in 2013, this donation was made in recognition that "This year is Ignition's 10th anniversary of working with Delta (and the MINI's have been a large part of the history)."

Delta Mini Coopers originally were painted in 2001 Delta Colors in Motion aircraft livery. In 2007, the cars were painted in Delta's new Red Widget Upward and Onward paint scheme. Two Minis temporarily wore a Pink Plane paint scheme in support of Delta's partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and one was on display for a short time at the Delta Flight Museum.

Since 2014, this Mini Cooper has greeted visitors from the Delta Flight Museum Courtyard.
