A framed set of pilot uniform insignia on red velvet backing. Set consists of the following:
* Delta wings, hat badges, uniform buttons and employee service pins dating from 1934-1979.
* Pilot hat badge and wings from Chicago and Southern Air Lines (C&S), last worn in 1953, the year C&S merged with Delta.
* Pilot hat badge and two-piece wings insignia from Northeast Airlines, last worn in 1972, the year Northeast Airlines merged with Delta.
Brown wood frame with insignia glued to red velvet backing. Reflective light blue metal plates identify and date the insignia, list aircraft types in the Delta fleet, and indicate the number of pilots on the roster for years 1934, 1939 (24), 1944 (75), 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974 (3191) and June 17, 1979 (3809 pilots). Plate on frame reads: "Presented to Delta Air Lines by Delta Golden Wings"
